  • The Ingmar Bergman Script Award 

    SF Studios every year awards a selected scriptwriter with The Ingmar Bergman Script Award in collaboration with The Bergman Center during The Bergman Week at Fårö in Sweden.  

  • Eagles of the Republic 

    SF Studios distributes Sweden's Oscar submission  Eagles of the Republic  which premiered during Cannes Film Festival and will continue its roll-out with screenings at Toronto and Stockholm Film Festival before its Nordic release in November. 

  • The New Nurses 

    The New Nurses ( Sygeplejeskolen ) airs its seventh season on September 14 on TV2 Play and TV 2 Charlie in Denmark. The series eight season has already been announced and is in production. 

  • 100 years of  
    filmmaking 

    Since 1919, SF Studios has been a leading  
    Nordic film studio. 

  • #SilenceAction 

    Since 2017, SF Studios has been engaged in the Swedish #MeToo-movement through the industry initiative #SilenceAction. 

  • Quisling 

    Our upcoming Norwegian film production Quisling is a psychological drama about the last days of the infamous Vidkun Quisling, starring Gard Eidsvold and Anders Danielsen Lie in the leading roles. Erik Poppe is directing. The film will premiere in fall 2024. 

  • A Man Called Otto 

    Our film production  A Man Called Otto , starring Tom Hanks, has premiered with great success in the US and internationally. SF Studios hosted a master class with the actors Tom Hanks and Rolf Lassgård and the producers Fredrik Wikström Nicastro and Rita Wilson, moderated by Christina Jeurling Birro, on Dec 14, 2022. 

  • The Trio 

    Production has officially begun in Sweden on SF Studios production  The Trio , a new six-part SkyShowtime Original series based on Johanna Hedman’s bestselling novel with a star-studded cast.
